As she approached the last cabin on the trail, the TV personality revealed that Brighton ‘got down on one knee and asked, “Will you marry me?”

When he pulled out an engagement ring, she remembers “immediately” saying, “Oh my God, yes!”

“They caught me completely off guard,” she confessed. ‘I had no idea.’

Reinhardt’s proposal was captured by Randolph’s friend Krissy, who hid “a few feet away” and took photos of them before congratulating them.

In her interview with Robin Roberts, Underwood expressed remorse for the role she played in the end of their relationship.

“I made mistakes at the end of that relationship and ruined the good memories we had with my actions and what I did to stay straight because I didn’t want to look in the mirror,” he said. “So I’m really sorry about that.”

Last month, Underwood and her husband, Jordan C. Brown, announced the arrival of their first child together.

The couple welcomed a son, named Bishop Colton Brown-Underwood, through a surrogate on September 26.
