The mother of Baby P, the boy tortured to death in 2007 in a case that horrified the nation, has been sent back to prison after breaching the conditions of her licence.
Tracey Connelly, 42, was jailed for life with a minimum of five years in 2009 after covering up her son’s barbaric injuries and leaving him to die in her care at her home in Tottenham, north London, on August 3, 2007.
The twisted mother was sent back to prison in 2015 after selling nude photos online, and is now on her way back to jail just over two years after she was last released.
MailOnline understands Connelly has been returned to prison for breaching her licence conditions.
Since she is serving a life sentence, it will be up to the Parole Board to decide whether she is ever released again.

Tracey Connelly, now 42, was released from HM Prison Low Newton in County Durham to begin a new secret life in a bail hostel in 2022.
Peter, known publicly as Baby P, had suffered more than 50 injuries despite being on the at-risk register.
Connelly, who covered up her son’s abuse, was jailed indefinitely in 2009 for a minimum of five years after admitting causing or allowing his death.
Connelly’s lover Steven Barker (left) was jailed in 2009 for a minimum of 12 years for torturing the 17-month-old boy to death, while her brother Jason Owen (right) received a six-year jail sentence for allowing the child to die.
A spokesperson for Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service told MailOnline: “Offenders released on licence are subject to strict conditions and we do not hesitate to return them to prison if they break the rules.”
Connelly was sentenced to life in prison after covering up injuries to her son, whose real name was Peter, and pleading guilty to causing or allowing the death of a child.

The tragic girl’s mother was released in 2013 but was sent back to prison two years later after capitalising on her notoriety among her twisted male admirers by selling nude photos of her on the internet.
Connelly was put back behind bars for violating the conditions of her probation that prohibited her from “developing intimate personal relationships” on the Internet.
She was released again in July 2022, moved from HM Prison Low Newton in County Durham to a bail hostel at a secret location to start her life anew.
The then Justice Secretary Dominic Raab had tried to prevent her release from going ahead, but months later MailOnline photographed Connelly walking down the street, enjoying her freedom, hidden behind a face mask.
A witness told us at the time: “What he did is despicable. There are no words to describe it.”
“There is no way she can go out and live a normal life after what she did. I believe in the rehabilitation of criminals, but not when it comes to what she did.”
By then, her weight had increased to 100 kilos, prompting her own mother to comment: The sun:Look at her, look how she is. She is very fat. She looks disgusting.
“She wears the mask because she doesn’t want anyone to recognize her. It makes me sick to see those photos. I don’t know how she can live her life normally.”
It was later reported that she befriended child killer Helen Cauldwell, who strangled her own daughter to death with a Piglet toy at a halfway house in the north of England.
Baby’s murder shocked Britain, not only because of the suffering the little boy endured while his mother was with him, but because of the missed opportunities to save him.
Peter had suffered more than 50 injuries despite being on the at-risk register and receiving 60 visits from social workers, police officers and health professionals over eight months.
