In his stand-up special Right Now for Netflix, Aziz addressed the allegations of sexual misconduct against him.

One woman had claimed that he ignored verbal and non-verbal cues that she didn’t want to be physically with him at the end of a date they had together.

He said, “I’m sure some of you are curious about how I feel about that whole situation. And it’s hard for me to answer because I’ve felt so many things in the past year.

“There were times when I felt scared. There are times when I felt humiliated. There were times when I was ashamed. And in the end, I just hated that this person felt that way,” he told the crowd. “And after a year or so I hope it was a step forward.”
