Azealia Banks sent a cease and desist letter to Matty Healy after he sent her a threatening tweet amid their online feud.
On Sunday, Banks shared a copy of the cease and desist letter, dated Saturday from Wallace J. Collins III in New York City, on her X account, formerly Twitter.
In the legal document, the rapper, 33, demanded that she immediately cease and desist from making any further defamatory statements against her.
He also demanded that the 1975 leader, 35, publicly and immediately apologize to him for his aggressive statements he tweeted on X earlier this week and which he has since deleted.
Through her lawyer, she also demanded he pay her $1 million after he said he wanted to “slap her” when she made public comments about him and his fiancée Gabbriette Bechtel amid their online feud.
The tense exchange reportedly surprised and “disappointed” his ex, Taylor Swift, a source exclusively told DailyMail.com the same day.

After Banks threatened to sue him for his threat of physical violence, he later took to The 1975’s Reddit page to issue a humiliating apology saying that he had been “let down” and felt “disgusting” for having “acted in such a way.” “violent.”
