A woman who died following a horrific lawnmower accident has been identified as a mother-of-two and a local farmer.
Kylie Walker, 48, suffered critical injuries to her head and chest on a private property in Ayr, south of Townsville in Queensland, at 6pm on Monday.
Emergency services attended the scene but Mrs Walker could not be saved.
Daily Mail Australia can reveal Mrs Walker, who leaves behind her husband and two teenage daughters, grew up in the area and comes from a farming family.
Photos posted on social media show the family riding a lawn mower while working on their farm.
Kylie Walker, 48, is pictured with her husband and two children.
The incident marks the second lawnmower-related death in the state in a week.
A man died after becoming trapped under a lawnmower at Tallegalla in Ipswich, southeast Queensland, last Monday.
