Shyanne Organ, 21, and Axle Young, 17, (pictured together) had just celebrated their first anniversary as a couple when he died in a tragic accident.

A young woman has relived the moment she dragged her boyfriend’s body from under his Holden VR Commodore and tried to revive him, even though she knew he was dead the moment she saw his face.

Shyanne Organ, 21, last spoke to her boyfriend Axle Young, 17, on the phone at around 1pm on Sunday, after he called from her home in Mittagong, Southern Highlands. New south Wales.

He called because he couldn’t find his AirPods and wanted to listen to music while he fixed one last thing under the car before taking his P-plate test on Monday.

She told him she would be home in five minutes.

He said, ‘Okay, see you soon. I love you, bye.’ And I said I love you too.”

But he found the headphones before she arrived and started fiddling with the 1994 truck.

Axle had used ramps to raise the car off the ground for better access, instead of jacks, a mistake that would cost him his life.

Shyanne told Daily Mail Australia she arrived home a few minutes after the call to find the vehicle had gone off the ramps and crushed Axle.

She knew what to do because she works as an aged care nurse and has qualifications in first aid and CPR, and she did everything she could to try and save his life.

“He was trapped when I saw him, so I immediately grabbed a jack, jacked up the car, pulled him out and did CPR on him until the ambulance arrived,” he said.

“I saw his face and knew he was gone, but I had hope and I kept trying.”

Shyanne explained that the couple had recently moved into their first home and celebrated their first anniversary together last Wednesday, four days before her death.

They were also planning a trip to Bali.

“It breaks my heart to know that not even a week ago we were talking about our first vacation and where it was going to be,” she said.

He described Axle as an “amazing person” and promised to “make him proud.”

“Axle took me under his wing and gave me the love I was always looking for,” she said.

‘He knew how to make me smile and knew every detail about me.

“He was a child who didn’t know how to say no and kept going and going until he finished the job or reached his goal.”

On Tuesday, his sister Cheyenne Young told Daily Mail Australia she would do everything she could to “honour” him.

‘My family and I were beyond proud of how far I had come. “He was the brightest young man and no one will ever forget him,” he said.

Axle had been an apprentice at Southern Highlands Carpet Court for two years when he died.

His employer said Axle had shown “patience, commitment and his beautiful nature (that) would always make everyone smile”.

“At the young age of 17, you showed us how determined and passionate you are about your career and your future,” the tribute read.

“This young man’s growth definitely did not go unnoticed and will be cherished forever.”

His family has now created a fundraising to pay for his funeral.

“This GoFundMe was created in hopes of raising enough money so Axle Young’s family can plan a beautiful funeral and farewell,” it said.

“We hope to raise $5,000 to cover expenses for Axle and his family at this time of great sadness.”

Police established the crime scene at the house where Axle died, but there were no suspicious circumstances.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
