Wild footage captured the moment a serial prankster’s prank backfired spectacularly after he was kicked in the head while pretending to be a statue.

The Australian prankster, known online as Shah Vlog, was dressed as a statue while sitting on a bench at Rundle Mall in Adelaide, South Australia.

Shah Vlog has amassed a cult following on social media for his pranks in which he scares unsuspecting adults and children by posing as a statue or a bush.

However, his prank with the statue went horribly wrong when a passerby casually approached him and kicked him in the head.

The prankster shared a compilation video on TikTok on Wednesday showing the reactions of shoppers at Rundle Mall, including the man who instantly regretted it.

The video showed the man approaching the prankster with his phone in one hand and a bag of food in the other before leaning back and kicking him in the head.

The man instantly regretted his actions after discovering that the statue was actually a person.

Shah Vlog stood up and approached the man, who immediately started apologizing for kicking him.

‘Oh shit, oh shit, I thought you were a statue. Very sorry. ‘I’m so sorry,’ the man said.

Social media users criticized the man for his actions, with many claiming that kicking public property was wrong.

“Even if it’s a statue, you have no right to kick it,” one commented.

‘But why would you do that anyway? Just ruin a property for fun? Best to believe he never did that again,” a second added.

‘But why are you older and kick a statue like you’re 10 years old? Please make it make sense. Smh,” a third person chimed in.

A fourth added: “Great that he apologized so much but honestly why would you do that in the first place?” People have no respect for anything.’

Some suggested the man knew the statue was a person and filmed himself kicking it in the head.

“I knew that sob, look at his smile before kicking,” one commented.

‘He definitely knew. Mans had the camera ready for him,” a second wrote.

A third added: “The fact that he had recorded a video, I knew.”

Others defended the man, claiming his genuine reaction showed he didn’t know the statue was a person.

Shah Vlog has 28,800 subscribers on YouTube and almost 380,000 followers combined on Instagram and TikTok.
