An 11-year-old autistic boy was sexually assaulted at a Tenerife resort before his family kicked the suspect out of the hotel when they saw the vile attack, which happened “in the blink of an eye”, according to reports.
The boy, believed to be from Ireland, was playing with other children at the hotel in the popular tourist town of Costa Adeje when he was allegedly attacked.
During the attack, the suspect allegedly put his hands down the boy’s pants and grabbed his genitals, Sun reports.
It was caught on CCTV and occurred in full view of the boy’s family, and a relative reportedly chased the man away.
The suspect, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was said to have been seen several days earlier hanging around the hotel.

Spanish police have arrested the man, who is said to be currently facing the Tenerife courts over the incident.
A source said DublinLive: ‘The family is shocked and dismayed by what happened. What was a lovely family vacation quickly turned into a vacation from hell.
‘They are horrified that the attack took place right before their eyes. One of the relatives kicked the man out of the hotel.
‘The last days of their vacation were spent between the police station and the court.
“They want to warn other families who are on holiday in Tenerife to watch their children at all times because this happened in the blink of an eye.”
