Ferrari’s bright young star Charles Leclerc will hope to be the man to end Mercedes’ winning run this weekend after he secured pole position at the Austrian Grand Prix.

Between Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas, Mercedes have won all eight of the previous races this season, taking away the rivalry many fans were looking forward to this season.

But Leclerc’s flying run to take pole, coupled with Red Bull’s Max Verstappen completing the front row, suggests Mercedes’ dominance could be ended  in the Austrian countryside.
