An Australian man whose “hot” mugshot set social media alight has revealed his career plans after being released from jail.

Jess Mabilia, a 28-year-old Melbourne man who pleaded guilty to trafficking methamphetamine and GHB, said Ben, Liam and Belle from NovaShe would love to start a career as a model or appear on a reality show.

“The American boy who went viral for his sexy mugshot is now a supermodel. Are you setting your sights on modelling?” asked presenter Belle Jackson.

“Oh, I hope so. I’d love to be involved,” Jess admitted.

Jackson then asked: What about reality shows?

“I would love to, you know, if my criminal record doesn’t prevent me, of course,” Mabilia said before agreeing that SAS Australia would be a great show to appear on.

He also revealed that he received “some offers for OnlyFans” after leaving prison.

“In this day and age, you just have to go straight to it. If you went on OnlyFans, you could tag yourself as Australia’s hottest prisoner or criminal,” Jackson said.

Mabilia appeared in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday and pleaded guilty to trafficking methamphetamine and GHB.

Police arrested the 28-year-old on March 1 after he was found sleeping inside a stolen Audi Q5 in Richmond.

Officers searched the car and found a sports bag filled with methamphetamine, vials of GHB and counterfeit money in the trunk.

Mabilia was charged and released on bail after pleading guilty to possession of counterfeit currency.

On March 17, police found Mabilia again in another stolen car in The Basin. They also caught him with two knives, a scale, dexamphetamine, methamphetamine, an imitation firearm and the drug 1,4-butanediol, commonly known as “bute.”

Mabilia pleaded guilty to drug and weapons possession, as well as possession of property reasonably suspected of being stolen, including a silver necklace and a box containing nine opals.

His defense attorney told the court that Mabilia did not know the car was stolen because it had been given to him by a friend so he could live in the vehicle. Herald of the Sun reported.

The court also heard that Mabilia planned to leave his life of crime and work with his father as a painter in Wonthaggi once he was released from prison.

The father-of-two, who grew up in Frankston, had multiple previous convictions and had started using drugs after breaking up with his partner.

He was sentenced to 113 days – almost four months – of time served in pre-sentence custody and was released on a 12-month community corrections order with a conviction.

Mabilia avoided an eight-month prison sentence by pleading guilty to all charges.

Police shared Mabilia’s mugshot and described him as “185cm tall, medium build, blue eyes and dark hair.”

Social media users flooded the Facebook post with many commenting on Mabilia’s striking appearance.

“Are you trying to lock him up or hook him?” one person commented.

“Accused of going in and out to steal the hearts of single mothers on Facebook,” wrote a second person.

“He’s probably busy signing deals with Vogue magazine and is currently on his way to appear in season 2 of Bridgerton as Simon Hastings’ half-brother,” a third commented.
