Pet Insurance Australia Spokesperson Nadia Crighton Says It'S Important To Consider How A Name 'Bears' When You Call It Out Before Giving It To Your Pet (Stock Image)

Pet Insurance Australia spokesperson Nadia Crighton says it’s important to consider how a name ‘bears’ when you call it out before giving it to your pet (stock image)

Ms Crighton said it is important to consider whether the name “bears well” when you call it out.

She said two-syllable names work best for pets because they are the easiest to hear.

Ms. Crighton recommends having a few possible names on hand before you get your fur baby, and trying them out for the first few days to see what’s right for you.

She said it’s worth thinking about what kind of name will continue to suit your pet as they get older.
