Australians are beginning to see the shape of their country in everyday objects such as clouds and eggs

Strewth! From an Australian-looking egg to a VERY geographically accurate blister – the everyday objects that EXACTLY resemble Australia are revealed

  • Aussies see the shape of Australia in everyday objects such as eggs / steaks
  • A man took a picture of an Aussie-like cloud with the sun behind it
  • Reddit user uploaded the photo of the cracked egg that Tasmania missed

Since Australia is the only country that is also a continent, people around the world are familiar with its distinctive shape.

So much so that many have seen the outline of Australia in everyday objects such as steaks, eggs, clouds and even a blister.

Father of three Santino Ruisi, 40, saw an Australia-shaped cloud in April while camping with his two sons in Edensor Park, west Sydney, in April.

A photo taken by Mr. Ruisi showed the sun’s rays bursting through an opening in the clouds to highlight the shape.

Mr. Ruisi told Daily Mail Australia: “The rays went straight through the air. Me and my three children thought it was incredible.

“I wish I could have captured it three or five seconds earlier so I could have shown there was a glowing ball for Tasmania, too.”

Another social media user claimed to have seen the shape of Australia while cooking a piece of steak.

The juicy steak, posted on Reddit, was surprisingly similar to the great southern country, missing only one or two characteristics.

The Australian-shaped steak caught the attention of Reddit users who said Tasmania and Queensland were missing, but the rest was perfect.

The skin under the big toe appears to be peeled, leaving the creepy shape.

The resemblance to Australia is so close that the outline reflects some of the finer details of the Australian coast.

Cape York, to the north of Queensland, and The Great Australian Bight, along the southern coastline, can be traced in perimeter.

Even Tasmania is depicted and separated not far below the main shape.

The social media user uploaded the photo of the cracked egg being cooked in a frying pan to Reddit on Wednesday.

The fried egg turned out to have the shape of Australia.

One side of the egg bulged, similar to Western Australia, while the bottom of the egg was cut like the Great Australian Bight.

Another part of the egg seemed to rise above the rest of the breakfast in a similar way to Queensland.
