A young Australian woman was left ‘stunned’ by the response she received from the girlfriend of an NRL player she slept with.
Erika, from Brisbane, felt like she was going to ‘have a panic attack’ after realizing she was the other wife of a cheating athlete and decided to confess what happened to her girlfriend.
The influencer shared a ‘story’ on TikTok detailing the sequence of events and claimed she checked to see if the star had a girlfriend, then assumed he was single when he became interested in her.
“I always thought the saying ‘NRL players are cheaters’ was a big assumption people made mainly because I don’t know anything about football. Apparently everyone in the universe knew it except me,” he said in the video.
Erika, from Brisbane, felt like she was going to “have a panic attack” when she discovered she was the other wife of a cheating athlete and decided to confess it to her girlfriend.
Last week, the glamorous influencer met some NRL players at her gym while working out with a friend.
“I had no idea all the football players were going to be there, otherwise I wouldn’t have gone because it was so fucking packed,” he said.
‘We met some of them in the recovery room and were chatting. I literally didn’t know who they were.
The group continued talking and Erika claimed the men asked where they could go to find fun things to do in Brisbane on a Saturday night.
“In the end, the one who didn’t talk to us at all came up to me and said, ‘Hey, can I have your Instagram?’ “I’ll send you a message about where we’re going,” he said.
The two exchanged profiles on social media and Erika admitted that she thought he was attractive.
Over the weekend, Erika was with her friends from Perth and told them about the run-in she had at the gym. Her friends immediately became excited because they all knew exactly who the men were, but Erika did not.
“I thought this guy who gave me his Instagram was attractive, so I checked his profile to make sure he didn’t have a girlfriend. He literally had four pictures, but none of them were with a girl,” she said.
“I just assumed he was single, which apparently you can’t do nowadays. I messaged him and said, ‘Good luck with your game.’

The two then continued messaging each other to share where they were going out and eventually crossed paths.
“I ended up going back to his house…then I left the next morning and didn’t think anything of it until my Instagram feed kept showing football highlights,” Erika said.
She then turned her attention to the man’s tagged photos on his Instagram page and found a photo of him and a girl.
Erika quickly realized that the woman was her girlfriend.
‘My stomach sank. Every second photo was a photo with him. “I thought I was going to vomit and I was on the verge of tears,” he recalled.
“I was having hot flashes and it wasn’t possible. I messaged him and asked if they were still together and he didn’t respond.
Erika then plucked up the courage and messaged her girlfriend to ask if the couple was still together, and she confirmed that they were.
“I pretty much told her what happened and she was like, ‘Oh, thanks for letting me know.’ That was all the response and I was like, ‘What the fuck?'” she said.
“I was stunned because I was expecting questions and conversation…it was just nothing.” I felt like she was so worried about it in vain, which is probably not the case, she probably didn’t want to talk to me.’
The next morning, Erika noticed that the player had removed her from his followers and never responded to him.
‘Like I said, this is probably not new news. It probably happens in every game… anyway, the moral of this story is that you should never trust a footballer, or a child in general.’
