The woman, who spent 36 hours in the ICU since Monday, was discharged yesterday after revealing: ‘I had a bad time, seeing myself alone, with all those tubes.’

He also said that the first thing he did when he saw the flies was call Deli Corner, the coffee company.

‘I did it in good faith that it wouldn’t happen to someone else, I told them I didn’t want the money, I just wanted them to do something.’

His family has now filed a complaint against the airport with the National Police, Última Hora reported.

They claim that the presence of insects in the coffee cup is a possible crime against public health and reckless injury, the news site added.

The family added that the machine, which has now been closed, was clearly poorly maintained by airport staff.

The woman explained that she intends to continue with the complaint while she fully recovers, in an effort to prevent a repeat of a situation similar to the one she experienced.
