Australian TV ratings were hit by a cyber attack on Tuesday evening.
According to TV tonightratings provider OzTAM will not give the nightly ratings due to a possible cyber attack in the Nielsen data center.
The cause of the attack is still unclear, and Nielsen’s data center is currently trying to fix the problem to secure its data.

“Nielsen has become aware of an unexpected outage regarding Australian TV Audience Measurement (TAM) ‘s data center environment,” said a spokesperson.
The TV viewing data of the day is collected and processed once functionality is restored. This means that night data for Tuesday (July 21) will be delayed. ‘
The spokesperson told the publication that the team is “committed to quickly resolving this issue” and “will keep the industry informed as soon as new information becomes available.”
