An Australian radio host has come under fire online after his shocking interview with Wicked stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo.
Nova host Kent ‘Smallzy’ Small posted a clip on social media of him speaking to Ariana, 31, and Cynthia, 37, about the film.
However, the host was quickly criticized by fans who claimed he seemed much more interested in talking to Grande than his co-star.
Smallzy asked Ariana how she felt when she received the call notifying her that she had won the role of Glinda the Good Witch, and the American pop star redirected Cynthia, who said she had a great story about it.
Cynthia then started talking about how she got the call saying she had won the role of the Wicked Witch of the West, but Smallzy quickly interrupted her and redirected the questions to Ariana.
“It was endlessly fun watching the movie with my fans,” Cynthia told Smallzy, to which he interrupted her and asked Ariana when she would next go on a music tour of Australia.
Ariana responded by saying that she and Cynthia had enjoyed their time in Australia and that they would both consider visiting the country again in the near future.
Smallzy then thanked Ariana for chatting with him, without saying anything to Cynthia: ‘It’s great to see you again, Ariana. Thank you for your time.’

Upset fans quickly took to social media to criticize the radio host for the shocking interview and question why he all but ignored two-time Oscar nominee Cynthia.
‘He needs to be fired immediately. This is super disrespectful. “This movie is about both,” criticized one fan.
‘Smallzy has been a jerk for years. “It’s interesting to see that it hasn’t changed,” a second person added.
“It’s time for Smallzy to let someone else handle Nova’s late night schedule,” a third person chimed in, with a fourth adding: “He could lose his career after this absolute disaster of an interview.”

Ariana and Cynthia are the lead actresses in the upcoming film, based on the hit musical Wicked.
The couple were in Australia this week to promote the musical film, alongside co-stars Jeff Goldblum, Jonathan Bailey and Ariana’s actor boyfriend Ethan Slater.
The film will be released in Australian cinemas on Thursday 21 November.
