A bizarre photo has left thousands of moms scratching their heads, many of them confused by its similarity to an X-rated body part.

Recently, an Aldi shopper was shocked after finding a strange white stringy film, believed to be mould, covering her potatoes.

She posted a photo online asking for help, not expecting her innocent question to spark such a suggestive conversation.

Several jumped toward the shelter being a spiderweb or mold, but hundreds couldn’t help but notice how much the image resembled a man’s genitals.

“I bought the brushed potatoes on Saturday, opened my usual potato storage container and they look like this,” he said two days later. “Any ideas, since I’ve never seen this before.”

Hundreds of people came to the email to share their funny observation.

“I thought this was one of my crazy mom groups and the second photo was a testicle,” one said.

“I’m glad I’m not alone with my dirty mind,” noted another.

A nurse said, ‘Same thing, I thought it was a vet page and it was testicles.’

‘The photo (close up) definitely looks like a sack resting on skin, why does the background look like a stomach with some hair?’ one asked.

“That, my friend, is called a hanging berry,” one woman joked.

“I won’t even comment on what I thought they were, but I definitely didn’t think they were potatoes,” another added.

Some others tried to get to the root of the problem.

“I thought they were coconuts,” said one.

“Mold and potatoes are no longer safe to eat,” wrote another. “It looks like fungal spores.”

“It could be a spider’s nest or some other insect that has gotten in; it’s best to throw it away,” said one mother.
