In a post uploaded to an Australian Facebook group, the woman said she heated the press, slathered slices of Lebanese bread with tomato sauce and then placed ingredients such as ham, olives and cheese on top.

After folding the bread like a wrap, she toasted it in the machine to make a delicious pizza snack.

“Years ago I bought all the stuff to make pizza, and then I remembered that my oven wasn’t working,” she wrote.

“I pulled out the trust sandwich press and made pizza in it.”

Her trick sparked raving reactions online, with many calling it “genius.”

“I made these, they’re amazing,” a woman replied.

“I do this once a week, my kids love it,” said a second, while a third wrote, “I’m definitely going to try this.”

Another said she’s been using her sandwich press for years to make dishes like bacon and eggs to save time in the kitchen.

“The fat doesn’t splatter anywhere and it’s about half the normal cooking time,” she added.

Others said they use the machine for steak and homemade kebabs.
