An inventor is planning to build an outrageous $200 million home, inspired by his late daughter, that will have 26 bedrooms, four kitchens for different types of cooking, a four-story wine cellar, an entrance tunnel, a rooftop pool, and a helicopter pad.
Mataki Lim has approval to build his 40,000 square meter dream mansion, which will also feature a cinema, nightclub, ballroom, music studio and extensive collection rooms in the Western Australian town of Chittering. about 60 kilometers east of Perth.
Lim said the house will showcase his company’s NXT TEC prefabricated construction technology, a rapid construction method he invented after moving to Australia from Malaysia at the age of 14.

The new house, approved for the 475 hectare site by the Chittering Shire last week, will be called Madalyn Manor in tribute to Mr Lim’s late daughter, who he says worked with him on the designs for the “shared dream between us two”.
If it became a reality, it is believed that the residence would be one of the largest private homes in the world.
NXT TEC describes Mr Lim as “a self-made billionaire whose impressive career as a property developer, registered builder and structural and mechanical engineer spans more than 30 years.”
After graduating in architecture from the University of Western Australia, Lim became a registered builder and ran a successful construction company until he retired from the business in 2006.
Lim said Friday that he still needs to obtain a construction permit and plans to begin the three-year construction project in late 2024.
The four kitchens will specialize in cooking French, Swedish, Japanese and Italian cuisine respectively.
In addition to the grand ballroom and dining room, there will be 10 collection rooms to display the antiques and paintings collected by Mr Lim.
The opulent mansion will feature four kitchens, a four-story wine cellar, a ballroom, a music studio, large collection rooms and even a bowling alley with an arcade.
The 475ha site will have native gardens, 6,000 planted trees and three lakes around a 10km boundary.
Lim moved to Australia from Malaysia aged just 14 and is a qualified architect.
There will also be a car museum along with indoor beach volleyball, basketball and squash courts, as well as a bowling alley and a laser tag games room.
The rooftop pool will have views of three lakes in the surrounding landscape where the The native botanical gardens will have 6,000 trees planted around a 10 kilometer boundary.
At an estimated cost At $200 million, the house would easily eclipse the Mineral Resources boss Chris Ellison and his partner Tia paid $57.5 million for their Mosman Park mansion in 2009 to make it the most expensive property in WA.
So far, NXT TEC has only built a small single-storey house in WA.
Despite gaining approval seven years ago to build a 120-room Wyndham Lux hotel in the eastern Perth suburb of Rivervale, construction has yet to begin.
