Harry Styles Fan Suffers RUPTURED Eardrum From Thousands Of Fans Singing Too Loud To British Pop Star’s Hit As It Was At Gold Coast Concert
A Harry Styles fan has a lasting memory of her night at his Gold Coast concert.
TikTokker Bella Bauer shared a video on the platform this week, showing off her injured ear and the antibiotics she has been prescribed, and claimed she suffered a ruptured eardrum during the British pop star’s performance at Heritage Bank Stadium on Tuesday.
The former One Direction star was on his third Australian stop on his Love On Tour world tour when the crowd started screaming the lyrics to his hit As It Was, reportedly damaging Bella’s ear.
If you’re wondering how loud the “Leave America” was in the stadium, it ruptured my eardrum. Worth the effort!’ she wrote about her clip.
She also shared some footage taken outside the venue, where the crowd could be heard screaming “Leave America” at full volume.

Bella added in her caption, “Here’s covering my ear for two weeks and some antibiotics.”
A ruptured or perforated eardrum can be caused by loud noises and cause sharp ear pain that quickly subsides, ringing in the ears, or hearing loss.
It usually heals on its own within a few weeks with the help of antibiotics and an eardrum patch.
Harry’s fans have been known to shout out the lyrics to his popular song As It Was, “Leave American,” as a way of criticizing the star’s habit of touring more extensively in the US than in other places.

Harry’s fans have been known to shout out the lyrics to his popular song As It Was, “Leave American,” as a way of criticizing the star’s habit of touring more extensively in the US than in other places.
Fans outside America, such as in the UK and Australia, are now making a big show of shouting those specific words during Harry’s live performances.
As a result, during that part of the song, Harry steps away from the microphone to let the audience cry the lyrics to him.
The 29-year-old even started removing his earpiece during that line, due to the extreme volume at which thousands of fans scream in unison.
Harry is currently continuing his tour of Australia, and on Friday night, thousands turned up early for the British superstar’s show in Sydney at Accor Stadium, despite rain pouring down all day.
