Lana Wilkinson had an American dream and now it’s about to come true.
The Melbourne-based businesswoman has announced she will be launching her stylish shoe brand in the United States.
Wilkinson, 42, first teased that she was working on bringing her four-year-old fashion brand to stores in the United States in February.
and now the Herald of the sun reports that Lana had been able to close a deal with American department store stockists.
According to the publication, Lana’s friend Bec Judd and designer Rebecca Valance “worked” with the high-profile socialite to get her brand Lana Wilkinson in front of the right contacts during New York Fashion Week.

“There have been interesting meetings and opportunities with the shoes and the brand to explore, especially during New York Fashion Week,” he told the Herald Sun in February.
“It’s a real pinch-me moment. Watch this space,” she added.
Wilkinson is part of an elite Australian social circle that includes Bec Judd and Michelle Greene, who are behind sportswear brand Jaggad, and WAG-turned-designer Nadia Bartel.
It is unclear at this time whether Wilkinson has designed a new range for the US market.

Her new line announced on her website includes black patent leather ‘Huw’ boots with 8.5cm heels worth $399.95. There is also a pair of slingback heels, the ‘Cleo’, valued at $229.95.
Meanwhile, Wilkinson announced that she has teamed up with designer Michael Lo Sordo for Sydney Fashion Week, which begins on May 14.
Wilkinson described the team as a “dream come true” and told the publication:
