An Australian podcaster and business owner has publicly apologized for previously judging other women who were cheated on, after it happened to her.

Lucy Jackson, 34, revealed on TikTok that before she cheated on herself, she had the “mentality that only girls who let it happen or whatever” had cheating partners.

Meanwhile, Lucy’s fans are also comparing her to the late Princess Diana after she wore a chest-baring black dress to a hen party over the weekend.

On Saturday, Lucy attended Niki Wescott’s bachelorette party at Marman restaurant in Burleigh Heads, Queensland.

In striking contrast to her best friend and bride-to-be, Lucy wore a sultry strapless floor-length dress that reached up to her chest.

She paired it with minimalist gold jewelry, a full face of glamorous makeup, and a black leather and leopard print clutch.

Meanwhile, Nikki glowed in a cascading white silk slip dress that flaunted her figure.

She paired the backless number with an iridescent clutch and statement earrings.

The best friends mirrored and contrasted each other’s outfits as they posed up a storm as they entered the Mediterranean restaurant for an afternoon of celebratory cocktails.

“Our girl is getting married soon,” Lucy captioned the snaps shared on Instagram.

The couple founded the fashion brand Jagger & Stone together after they found great success with an Instagram account that documented the outfits they wore to music festivals.

The Gold Coast duo, who now have a podcast, merchandise, a wine label, a clothing brand and an influencer business, are one of Australia’s “quietly growing mini media empires”, according to the Australian Financial Review.

“It’s giving Princess Diana revenge dress vibes,” one of Lucy’s 111,000 Instagram followers commented on the images.

Earlier this month, Lucy revealed her ex-boyfriend had moved out of her house just two weeks after moving in with her and saying “I love you” for the first time.

She uploaded three explainer videos to TikTok revealing that she found out he had cheated on her with ‘multiple women’ and also urged her followers not to contact or harass her ex, who also deactivated his public Instagram account.

In a new four-minute monologue, Lucy said she felt “really humbled” by the experience when she returned to work after her heartbreak.

“I’ll have to keep saying this, but please don’t approach this man or say nasty things about him,” she began.

‘Cheating is a very complicated thing and I will say that cheating itself wasn’t even what hurt me the most.

‘I believe that good people can make mistakes and there is always room to give them second chances. But honesty, truth, and owning your behavior are the true signs of character.

Earlier this month, Lucy revealed she discovered her partner had cheated on her “with several women” weeks after moving in with her.

“I really used to think about other girls and women that you only get cheated on if you’re… Not that you let it happen to you, but… I always used to think that “I was the kind of person who would be able to tell if someone was a cheater,” he said, choosing his words carefully.

‘Naturally, that made me think that I would never be the type of person to be fooled.

‘I would be very supportive if any of my friends were cheated on, but I didn’t think it would happen to me.

“Now I feel so bad for having that attitude in the past and not being a girl.”

Lucy said she felt the need to issue a formal, public apology for her previous mindset and any harmful opinions she may have expressed on her Happy Hour podcast because of it.

“I feel truly honored and almost need to publicly apologize to the girls who have been deceived,” she said.

‘I think that has been one of the biggest learnings from this whole situation for me. I will now strive to change that mentality.

He went on to say that he reflected on his opinions and discovered that cheating “says nothing about the person being cheated on.”

“It says a lot about the person who cheated… and you’re the poor girl who’s in the relationship with them at the time.”
