Australian boxer Ebanie Bridges slams ‘disrespectful bully’ Shannon O’Connell after world title win

Ebanie Bridges said that ‘there’s nothing better than shutting up a bully’ after she defeated Shannon O’Connell, an Australian boxer. She was able to retain her IBF bantamweight title and dethroned the ‘queen’ of Australian boxing with a stunning performance.
The fight was the co-main for Josh Warrington’s IBF title bout against Luis Alberto Lopez.

The showdown had turned into a grudge match months beforehand with O’Connell branding her rival a ‘skanky stripper’ due to her habit of wearing lingerie at her pre-fight weigh-ins.
The 39-year-old also tried to intimidate Bridges when they met face-to-face in Leeds on Thursday, telling her ‘you’re f**ked, b***h’ – only to have her opponent laugh in her face.

O’Connell branded her opponent a’skanky’ stripper for her habit of wearing lingerie to weigh-ins prior to the showdown.
O’Connell also insulted Bridges over her weight before the bout, describing her as a ‘fat c***’ before they stood on the scales.
Bridges has spoken about her hatred of bullies in the past. After the bout, Bridges took to social networking to revel in her victory.
“That’s the way it’s done, nothing quite like shutting up bullies – so satisfying,” she wrote on Instagram.

Lauren Parker, a professional boxer, also commented that she “absolutely smashed it.” Shut O’Connell up! So good after the s*** she’s given her in the run up,’
Bridges spoke to O’Connell after the fight, about how unique and spiteful it was.

This is only the 10th professional fight for Blonde Bomber. She will likely now look to fight in a bantamweight unification bout.
“I don’t usually be disrespectful to my opponent, but she was so disrespectful of me the entire time. I don’t have the heart to show her this much respect, she can hit but. She Bridges said that they could bang.
