The Royal Australian Mint started pumping out $ 1 coins on Monday, in collaboration with Australia Post, as part of the Great Aussie Coin Hunt.

The rare coins are only available with change given with purchases at participating post offices.

Anyone can join the hunt by going to one of the 3,600 participating post offices, making a purchase and receiving the $ 1 exchangeable coins.
