The Australian women’s swimming team has taken home gold after breaking the 4x100m freestyle relays.

Bronte Campbell, Emma McKeon, Kate Campbell and Meg Harris led the national team to victory in a record race.

The team of four finished the relay in a record 3:29.69 minutes, setting a new world record.

It is the first time that a team has broken the barrier of 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
