A 14-year-old Australian-Thai boy was fatally stabbed in the back by another teenager outside a housing estate in Thailand.
The teenager was walking home when he was allegedly attacked outside Muntra Garden Home in Chonburi on Tuesday.
The 14-year-old, whose mother was Australian and whose father was Thai, collapsed on the steps of a nearby store and died a short time later.
In security cameras captured from the fight, the teen’s attacker is allegedly seen stabbing him in the back with a knife as he tries to stagger to safety.
Her alleged attacker, a fellow student, reportedly fled the scene on a motorcycle.
The boy’s mother and older sister said he had mentioned a dispute with an older student at school who had sent him “threatening” messages.
‘I saw him go out to play in town but I didn’t know when he went to the store. “He said he was having problems with a senior from the same school,” he said.
Police arrived at the scene of the fatal stabbing at 8.30pm and found the teenager lying in a pool of his own blood.

The man’s alleged attacker was detained by police on suspicion of murder.
He was taken to the Sattahip district police station for questioning, where he reportedly confessed to stabbing the younger boy.
“I stabbed him in the back before riding home on a motorcycle. “I didn’t know it would kill him,” she allegedly told police.
The teen said the 14-year-old had “looked at him like he was looking for trouble,” so he told him to meet him after school before allegedly stabbing him.
Police Colonel Thanapon said the suspect was sent to Chonburi Juvenile and Family Court, where he would be “interrogated” and informed of the charges.
‘The most serious charge is murder. “If the evidence supports it, he will be prosecuted for murder,” he said.
The body of the Australian-Thai boy has been sent to Bangkok for an autopsy.
