A woman has sparked a heated debate after sharing a “controversial” opinion on how to properly prepare instant noodles – but not everyone agrees.
Abbey revealed that when she makes two-minute noodles, she puts all the spices in them, pours boiling water and lets them marinate for a few minutes before eating them.
But what “keeps him up at night” is that some people dump the water once the noodles are ready.
“I just follow the directions on the package,” she said. “But so many people drain all the water – which is borderline psychopathic. Water is all the goodness, it’s the best part.
She added: “Some people also put all the seasoning after and don’t get that nice bubbling water!”
Many agreed that Abbey’s method was “correct.”
“Finally, someone said it!” The broth is literally the best part, that’s why I eat the noodles,” one said.
“It’s all about putting the right amount of water to cook the noodles so that some concentrated broth remains,” wrote another. “I think the drainers use too much water.”
“I always save water – it’s like drinking delicious noodle juice, especially in cold weather,” one woman added.
But others claimed she was “missing” a tasty dish.
“Drain the water then add flavorings, the result is different,” one man wrote. “The flavor is stronger, not diluted. »
“I put the seasoning in before I put the water, then let it sit for a bit and drained the water because I don’t like my noodles to be soggy,” said the One. Two.
Others shared different ways to enjoy their two-minute noodles.
“I drain most of the water, add the seasoning, then add a tiny bit of butter mixture,” one explained.
“I drain the water then add butter and Vegemite,” one man wrote.
“I add so much string cheese – it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I could honestly live on it,” one woman said.
