An influencer has hit back after being publicly shamed online for getting tickets to two of Taylor Swift’s concerts in Melbourne last week.
Olivia White, 34, responded to criticism after she was criticized in a Facebook group for going to see the American pop megastar one night with her friend, followed by another night with her daughter.
The social media group user claimed there was “so much outrage” among Swifties that they were left without tickets, while Olivia managed to attend twice.
On her Instagram Story, Olive wrote: “I’m not sure why they’re using me as an example when so many people went to various shows and honestly I’m done with people criticizing those who did it.”
“Unfortunately, that’s how it ended with the tickets I was able to get for each show…” he added.

Olivia highlighted her efforts to “help others” get tickets and attend concerts.
“I’ve also managed to get friends tickets to shows in Melbourne and Sydney, plus I’ve been trying really hard to help others during the last minute sales over the last few weeks, and I know many have managed to get them,” he continued.
‘I don’t see many people going around once, twice or that many times doing that… But do people feel the need to find a specific person to blame for not getting a ticket?’ That’s fine, if that’s what you need, and I hope you’ll eventually accept it.
The influencer spotted the American pop megastar one night out with her friend, followed by another night out with her daughter in Melbourne last week.
Olivia was shamed online by disappointed Swifties who missed out on tickets
In the Facebook group, several disappointed Swifties who missed out expressed their frustrations about people attending more than one show.
“As someone who missed out on tickets, it’s a little hard to see people who went to more than one concert,” someone wrote.
“People who go more than once are selfish, others miss out and it would be nice to allow more people the opportunity to go too,” added another.
‘I’m a big fan of Taylor. I was given the opportunity to go twice, but instead I gave the ticket to a friend who didn’t get tickets. I personally disagree with multiple shows due to supply and demand,” one user commented.
Olivia responded after a user in a social media group said there was “so much outrage” among Swifties that they ran out of tickets, while Olivia managed to attend twice.
However, others came to Olivia’s support and criticized jealous fans.
‘Why shouldn’t they be allowed to go to as many concerts as they can get tickets for? “Sounds like a bunch of bitter people who are just jealous,” someone said.
“I’m not a Taylor fan, but if someone had the chance to go see their favorite artist twice, there’s no way I’d say no,” another commented.
‘Do I think outrage is foolish in those scenarios? Good for them, keep in mind that I’m sure he won’t be back here for at least a few years.
