An Australian couple’s night out at a kebab shop turned into an all-out brawl that left a police officer with a broken arm.

Brooke Haynes and Dakota Jenkins, both 26, were caught on CCTV throwing chairs and shoving customers at Falafel House, on Hindley Street, in Adelaide’s CBD.

Jenkins pushes a customer into a fridge, causing him to drop his kebab, moments before Haynes sends a plastic chair flying across the restaurant.

The couple then spills onto the sidewalk while several police officers try to break up the drunken brawl.

As the fight continues, a policewoman falls backwards and breaks her arm.

A young Adelaide couple left red-faced after a date night turned into an all-out brawl at a kebab shop (pictured, Brook Haynes and Dakota Jenkins with their 11-month-old son)

Haynes (left) and Jenkins (second from left) were captured on CCTV throwing chairs and shoving customers in Falafel House, on Hindley Street in Adelaide.

Police will allege Haynes, a young mother from Adelaide’s southern suburbs, spat at officers twice during the fight.

The O’Halloran Hill couple were charged with a string of offenses including serious assault and obstructing police.

Haynes spent 36 hours behind bars before turning up at Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday, wearing the same clothes she was arrested in.

His lawyer, Peter Hill, said the young couple enjoyed a rare evening without their 11-month-old son before things turned violent.

“They had a night off with their son… they responsibly took an Uber into town, but parents who don’t get away much, the night clearly got out of hand due to drunkenness” , Mr Hill told the magistrate.

“We’re saying this isn’t a woman with a drinking or drug problem, she’s just a hard-working stay-at-home mom.”

“The (police officer suffered) a broken arm and that is not the subject of any charges, the two assault officers are the subject of two spitting allegations.”

Haynes was released on bail due to her “limited” criminal history and left the courthouse hand in hand with Jenkins, who had already been granted bail by police.

The couple declined to answer questions from waiting media.

Haynes will be back in court in April, while Jenkins will return the following month.

The police officer who broke his arm during the incident was treated in hospital.
