Australian Lamb’s summer advert has been released for 2025 and features several big names in Australian culture, including Olympic breakdancing star Rachel ‘Raygun’ Gunn.
While last year’s theme took aim at things that weren’t Australian, Australian Lamb for 2025 encouraged people to “leave the comments section”.
It is understood the advert used real comments that people on the internet have written relating to a range of topics including dog sitting, making a cup of tea and Raygun.
During the announcement, people highlight some of the baffling comments that were shared online last year, before Lambassardor Sam Kekovich produces a grilled lamb chop to unite people for the announcement.
Highlighting some absurd comments, the promo features a group of people sitting at a booth with a sign above it that says, “The comments section.”
During the ad, several actors begin arguing about whether to put milk in a cup of tea before taking out the tea bag.

The Australian breakdancer suffered widespread trolling after her performances at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
An exasperated character says: ‘Now we’re fighting over tea…’ While another replies: ‘It could be worse…’
The camera then pans to a woman dressed in a green tracksuit outfit who appears to be posing as Raygun performing a dance on a stage in front of the group.
Afterwards, several members on the stand shouted a variety of messages at the lady, including: “She’s my hero” and “She broke the dance.”
“I don’t understand why it was added,” while one responded to the comments. ‘Oh, another keyboard warrior.’
“It’s fake,” one was heard saying, while another added: “Why does everyone hate?”
The woman continued dancing and rolling on the floor while two individuals appeared to ask why there was so much trolling.
“There’s got to be something that brings us together,” one said, before the screen cut to Kekovich, who said, “Come on everyone, let’s get out of the comments and get into the chops.”
The hilarious ad aims to shed light on the difference between how some Australians have treated people online and how they would in person.
During the announcement, several people standing in what is called the ‘comments section’ insulted a ray gun impersonator as she danced on stage.
Livestock Australia chief marketing officer Nathan Low said: “When you delve into the world of online comments, it makes you think Australians are fighting each other, no matter how trivial the topic.”
‘But in real life we don’t treat each other like that.
“The Summer Lamb campaign is an irreverent reminder that Australians always do their best when we’re united, and there’s no better way to bring everyone together than an epic Australian lamb barbecue.”
It comes as Raygun was heavily trolled following her performances at the Paris 2024 Olympics, but has also become something of a cult hero in Australia.
The Australian breaking sensation failed to score any points at the Olympics and was questioned for her unique dances, in which the university researcher jumped like a kangaroo.
While many offered support and congratulated Gunn for making it to the Games, she previously spoke out about some of the horrible comments sent her way by some social media users.
Raygun has defiantly vowed not to let her enemies defeat her.
“People have really tried to shame me,” he said.
At the end of the clip, Lambassardor Sam Kekovich holds up a grilled lamb chop, before joining them in the comments section.
Raygun has previously been open about some of the trolling she has received, but she defiantly says her hate won’t affect her.
“It’s been very difficult to process,” he said. Stellar. ‘My whole world has changed. My identity has changed. My relationships have changed, for better or worse.
“Unfortunately, it’s times like these you find out who your real friends are. And because things are still changing, it’s simply impossible to understand.
“It’s hard to predict what it will be like when I leave home.”
She added: “I think the haters want me to be locked in a room, ashamed and silent.”
