A bitter feud in Australian boxing has taken a new turn, with Brock Jarvis lashing out at his former best friend Hassan Hamdan over a “pussy move”, insisting he will happily end his rival’s career.

Jarvis and Hamdan were best friends for many years while training with Australian boxing icon Jeff Fenech, but the pair fell out shortly after Jarvis’ shock loss to Liam Paro in 2022.

Hamdan, who has since helped Paro with a training camp, called out ‘Glass Jaw Jarvis’ and says the pair should resolve their differences in the ring.

Jarvis, who recently met with Fenech and is preparing for his return on December 13 against Adrian Rodriguez, says he is open to the fight with Hamdan.

“I would love to finish his career,” Jarvis said. News Corporation.

‘There is no problem. It doesn’t matter the weight, it doesn’t matter to me (middleweight, super welterweight), I’m comfortable wherever.

‘Give me a date and a weight and I’ll be there.

“There is no fear here, friend, nothing confronts me.”

The dispute took a new turn last week when Hamdan posted a photo on social media of Jarvis being crushed by Paro.

“I saw that post he put up where he was knocked out and I thought, ‘What a cowardly move,'” Jarvis said.

“Make sure you include that: what a cowardly move, celebrating another man’s victory.”

Fenech remains friends with both fighters and says he does not want to get involved in the ugly dispute.

Jarvis says he is not at all worried about facing Hamdan after training with him many times over the years.

“He was a good kid and I used to hang out with him,” Jarvis said.

“He was always a slow learner, but I tried to help him as much as I could.

“I never had any animosity towards him, so hearing him say all that was new to me.

‘I’ve trained him hundreds of times and I’ve never felt anything.

I’ve never even been tickled.

“It’s just interesting to hear all the emotions he has.”
