The TV star-turned-property mogul, 38, and her husband, property developer Neil, have started a successful business building luxury homes and boast a $25 million property empire.

They recently purchased a huge piece of land in Byron Bay and built two multi-million dollar modern homes on the site, and both luxury rental homes are now open for bookings.

Krystal took to Instagram on Thursday to give a glimpse into the construction and renovation process and give fans a peek at the stunning coastal getaways.

Banks at Byron is located at the front of the lot and sleeps up to 18 people, and costs more than $5,550 for a two-night stay, according to the website.

Meanwhile, Bunker Byron is located behind the site and sleeps up to 14 people, while costing around $7,000 for a minimum three-night stay.

The high-class properties can be booked together for a large group stay or separately and give guests a luxurious glimpse of the Byron coast.

While Banks features typical beach house decor including white and tan accents, Bunker has a strikingly different industrial look, offering two very different accommodation options.

Krystal has been documenting the renovation process on Instagram and shared some details about the lengthy construction on her Stories this week.

She revealed she lived on the construction site with her husband Neil and children Sunny, nine, and Nakoda, five, while the two sprawling properties were being built.

He explained that they all lived in a caravan while construction was taking place and shared details of their hands-on approach to the renovation process.

Krystal, who rose to fame on Big Brother Australia in 2006, shared photos and videos of her laying concrete and helping construction crews on site.

She confessed that she would start work at 3:30 in the morning, before her children woke up, and said that she had never been so “exhausted” in her entire life.

She also revealed that she chose all the interiors of both homes herself, describing herself as too much of a “control freak” to hand the reins over to someone else.

Krystal admitted that it was sometimes “chaos” living on site while construction was taking place, and shared a glimpse into the living situation in her makeshift garage.

“Sometimes it was total chaos, but we actually made a lot of wonderful memories here as a family,” he revealed.

“I also spent a lot of my childhood living in a caravan, so maybe that made me feel at home.”

Despite the challenges, Krystal said she felt it was valuable for her son and daughter to see the work done on the homes and show off the finished product.

The multi-story mansion, which they originally built as their dream home after purchasing the land for $1.7 million, is now a luxury rental that sleeps up to 16 guests.

Krystal and Neil also have another resort-style accommodation located just outside the ski village of Perisher Valley at Crackenback in the New South Wales Alps.

Built by the couple in 2021 and nicknamed ‘Jimmy Doo’, it sleeps 22 adults and eight children.

After leaving her reality TV career behind, Krystal now manages projects through Neil’s successful property design and construction company, Futureflip.
