Sam Corlett has undergone an extreme body transformation and lost 26 kilograms to play a methamphetamine addict in his new film.

The Australian actor shared several confronting images on Instagram of his dramatic weight loss for his new film, He Ain’t Heavy.

The Vikings: Valhalla star revealed her emaciated figure and radical transformation in before and after photos.

“With guidance, I ended up going from 92kg (for Vikings: Valhalla) to 66kg for this movie,” he wrote.

“I found that the physical structure gave me so much mental clarity and emotional access that it helped me serve the character of Max.”

Sam told him Confidential He only ate “one meal a day for four months” and walked 20 to 30,000 steps a day to lose weight.

However, the actor admitted that it was difficult for him to return to healthy eating habits once filming wrapped.

“Surely after the dysmorphia I had a hard time getting back to normal,” he said.

“My previous diet was training for the Vikings, so I had to find a whole new normal and my stomach was used to consuming so much food.”
