As the years have passed, God’s Love We Deliver expanded its remit beyond HIV/AIDS and now provides meals to thousands of people who are homebound due to illness.
Joan spent part of each Thanksgiving personally delivering food to the sick for the charity, as seen in the 2010 documentary Joan Rivers: A Piece Of Work.
He died a little over a decade ago, on September 4, 2014, after suffering complications from a routine endoscopy.
