She then shared a throwback to their wedding day as they posed together radiantly, with the bride looking stunning in a dress with a Bardot neckline and full skirt.

The couple snuggled up, Peter looking dapper in a black three-piece suit and Liz added: “Thank you for your lovely well wishes.”

The couple surprised fans after revealing they had tied the knot in June 2023 in the Lake District with guests. including Liz’s former bandmate Natasha Hamilton.

Revealing the news, he wrote alongside a photo of the couple kissing on the church steps: ‘A few days ago, Peter and I got married surrounded by some of the people we love and care for (and little Bean, our dog) and I wanted to share with you this beautiful photo of our day.

‘We are very grateful to everyone who was there, especially some who traveled from all over the world to be with us (Australia, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Ibiza…)’

She continued: ‘And finally… Dear online friends who found out what day it was, I just wanted to thank you for your nice messages, you have been very kind.

Liz’s wedding came a year after she surprised her fans with a surprise engagement announcement, while wishing her future husband a happy birthday.

Her large diamond engagement ring was visible on her ring finger, while she kept the man’s identity a secret.

Captioning the black and white photo, she wrote: “Happy birthday to my future husband.” YEAH! I’m going to marry the most beautiful human being I’ve ever met and today is her birthday. Double yay!’

‘I’m open to adoption and I think it’s amazing. “I love the idea that there is a child who needs to be loved and that you can give it to him.”
