At least six teenagers are shot during bloody fight on New York City subway that spilled into packed station at rush hour – as cops hunt gunmen on the run

At least six teenagers were injured after shots were fired at a Bronx train station.

The New York City Police Department launched an investigation after shots were fired on the uptown 4 train platform at Mount Eden Station around 4:45 p.m.

The incident began on a train and continued to the platform, police said.

The MTA said 4 northbound trains run on the express track from 149 St.-Grand Concourse to Burnside Avenue and 4 trains bypass Mount Eden Avenue in both directions.

The NYPD urges the public to avoid the area of ​​Jerome Avenue between Inwood Avenue and Townsend Avenue.

Footage from the Citizen app showed ambulances and emergency personnel gathering at the scene.

NYPD officers were on the street beneath the subway tracks, redirecting traffic.

The conditions of the victims are still unknown.
