At least 12 people were killed and 40 others injured after a bus split in half when it crashed into a concrete tunnel.
The horrific accident occurred today after the driver lost control in the Sikar district of Rajasthan, India.
The private vehicle was traveling on a road in Sikar before colliding with a culvert around 2pm, according to police.
Terrified witnesses told officers the bus began swerving erratically before hitting the concrete structure at high speed.

Chilling images show the bus completely crushed. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced plans to give the deceased’s loved ones 200,000 Indian rupees, the equivalent of £1,829.
Two passengers are believed to have died during the initial impact and chilling images show the aftermath of the crash.
The front of the bus can be seen completely destroyed as emergency workers use a crane to try to move the wreckage.
Three other people tragically died during surgery, said SK hospital superintendent Mahendra Khichad.
About 23 people are still receiving treatment for various serious injuries.
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma made a heartfelt statement after the accident.
He said: “It is truly heartbreaking that lives have been lost in this unfortunate incident.

“Rest assured that the authorities have been tasked with ensuring that the injured receive the best possible treatment.”
So far there has been no confirmation about the causes of the accident.

Those who survive their injuries will receive 50,000 Indian rupees (£457), according to the Prime Minister’s Office.
