The police officer, known only as Officer Fraser, was on duty in Warren, Michigan on Tuesday when he saw a high-speed blue Camaro overtake his patrol car.
After stopping the vehicle, Fraser quickly realized that the family inside the car had an emergency and rushed to their aid.
The footage captures the moment he manages to get their 18-month-old baby boy to breathe again, after the choking baby turned blue on the lips.
In the video, Fraser immediately heads for the car and can be seen reaching inside to help the family.

The panicked parents, who remain unknown, can be seen frantically gathering around the police officer at the end of the video.
Talk to ABCConstable Fraser said: “At this point it’s not about issuing a ticket, arresting a speeding driver, there is a real emergency here.
“Watching him now is a bit overwhelming, but at the moment you really don’t think much about it other than relying on training.”
