Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz has lashed out at a TV host in Brazil after he posted a video seemingly objectifying his girlfriend and footballer Alisha Lehmann.
Milton Neves, a 71-year-old presenter, caused anger at Luiz when he tweeted a clip of Lehmann celebrating a goal by jumping and turning his back on her.
The video, shared on social media, appears to zoom in on her backside during a goal celebration and ends with the question, “What song was on her shirt without rewinding the video?”
Neves posted the video with the caption “watch and comment,” which sparked an angry response from Luiz. He has since deleted the Tweet.
The Brazilian star – who confirmed earlier this year that he was in a relationship with Lehmann, a key member of Villa’s women’s team – called Neves “disrespectful”.
“You are old, years in football and you post a video that has no respect for women’s football or the player himself, who is also my girlfriend,” Luiz said on Twitter.

Luiz lashes out at Brazilian TV star Milton Neves, who has 2.2 million followers, over his tweet
“You haven’t learned what respect is, they’re bulls***.”
It is not the first time one of Neves’ comments has been met with backlash, with the Brazilian journalist known for his controversial comments.
Neves has 2.2 million followers on Twitter. He is a journalist and presenter for radio and TV stations Grupo Bandeirantes in Brazil.
The video in question is taken from Aston Villa’s 4-3 win over Manchester City on the opening weekend of the new Women’s Super League season, in which Lehmann opened the scoring.
The relationship between Luiz and Lehmann started in November last year after she uploaded a photo of the two to her Instagram story.
Lehmann, 23, plays as a forward for the women’s team and is also an international for Switzerland. She joined Villa from West Ham last summer.

Luiz, 24, has been playing for Villa since 2019 and is a Brazilian international. He was the subject of a £35 million bid from Arsenal on the day of the transfer deadline earlier this month.
He has endured a mixed start to the campaign, playing more of a supporting role under boss Steven Gerrard.
Lehmann scored in Villa’s 4-3 win over Manchester City on the opening day of the Women’s Super League season and played 45 minutes into her side’s 2-0 win over Leicester on Sunday.
