Mahendra Singh Dhoni will return to the cricket action with the Asia Cup 2018 scheduled for September 15. The experienced Dhoni of the Indian team, which has an experience of 321 One-Day International (ODI) matches under his belt, will be seen in action for the first time after he played the limited series against England in July 2018. On Friday, veteran Pakistani player Shoaib Malik was captured in a video, published by ANI on his Twitter account, approaching the Indian during team practice. Malik was seen entering the area where the Indian team held his practice session, and shaking hands with Dhoni as a show of respect towards the former captain of India.

India will open its campaign on September 18 against Hong Kong. While Pakistan will play its first game against Hong Kong on September 16.
India and Pakistan will face each other in the highly anticipated clash on September 19 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.
Pakistan has an advantage over the defending champions of India in the ODI head-to-head contest. Pakistan has won 73 times, while India has secured victory 52 times.
India, led by Rohit Sharma in the absence of Virat Kohli, will seek to defend its title in the 2018 edition of the Asian Cup, while Pakistan will seek its third title.
