Ashley Tisdale welcomed her second child with husband Christopher French on Friday.

On Saturday, the High School Musical alum, 39, and her husband announced that she had given birth and shared a first look at their newborn baby in a joint social media post.

The actress took to Instagram to share a photo of herself, her husband and their first child, three-year-old daughter Jupiter, holding the tiny, precious hand of their new family member.

In her caption, Tisdale, whose former co-star also recently welcomed a baby girl, revealed that her little girl’s name is “Emerson Clover French.”

“The three of us are obsessed with you 9.6.24,” she wrote alongside a four-leaf clover emoji in her short but sweet note.

The arrival of the happy couple’s newest family member comes after Tisdale made her pregnancy announcement in March.

At the time, she took to social media and revealed that she and French were expecting their second child together.

She shared the joyful news with photos of herself showing off her baby bump as she posed next to a lemon tree at her Los Angeles home.

“We can’t wait to meet you,” the star wrote in her caption.

In her series of snaps, she is also seen holding her baby bump as she and French gazed adoringly into each other’s eyes.

She also included an adorable snap of her firstborn, Jupiter, who was wearing a matching outfit, holding her hand and looking sweetly at her pregnant mother.

The couple, who married in September 2014, welcomed Jupiter in March 2021.

Just a couple of weeks earlier, she shared that she “couldn’t wait for that baby to come” during her third trimester, as she had been experiencing nausea for a while as her due date approached.

The former Disney Channel star expressed her “exhaustion” as she explained that her adenovirus infection had turned into a sinus infection and she had already been sick for three weeks.

Adenovirus infections, which can range from mild to severe, most often affect the respiratory system and symptoms may resemble those of the common cold or flu, according to Cleveland Clinic.

“I’m exhausted. I’m ready to have this baby, but I’m not ready,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself lying in bed.

“I still have to wallpaper the room and organize everything, so don’t come yet. But I’ve been sick for three weeks with an adenovirus that turned into a sinus infection.”

She continued: “My whole body hurts and I literally can’t wait for that baby to be born. I think they make the last month so hard that you’re willing to throw yourself into something that would normally be very scary, but you do it anyway.”

Fortunately, both mom and baby appear to be doing well as the family welcomes their new addition and celebrates her safe delivery.
