Ashley James admitted her week got off to a sobering start after her eldest son was rushed to hospital following a bad fall.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the TV personality revealed that her three-year-old son Alfie had been sent to the local A&E with his dad after injuring his ankle the day before.

To make matters worse, her nineteen-month-old daughter Ada, her youngest child with her partner Tommy Andrews, had fallen ill while Ashley, 37, was preparing for a business meeting.

Sharing a video on social media, the former Made In Chelsea cast member, who returned home after a weekend away, was accompanied by her sick daughter as she spoke to her followers during her hectic morning.

‘I definitely had an accident after a weekend without kids. The little lady was awake late at night, wasn’t she? he said when Ada appeared in the photo.

‘She’s not at nursery today because she’s a little unwell, right? You have a little temperature. And then Tommy is in the ER with Alfie.

Revealing that Alfie had fallen during a trip to a local park with his dad, she added: “He loves the fireman’s pole but he basically fell from a height and has been complaining about his ankle pain.”

“So Tommy is in the ER with Alf and the thing is, Alf is quite dramatic, so he really gets over any illness or he’s always asking for ice packs and he can be a dramatic guy.

“But he woke up and was still saying his ankle hurt and then Tommy got him dressed and he was crying a lot.

‘So that’s us for today, Tommy on A&E and hopefully the little one is okay. And you’re coming with mom to her big important meeting.

The This Morning contributor has been sharing a series of empowering photos recently and last month shared a video of herself looking stunning in a red lingerie set.

She posed on a bed in her underwear and urged fans to love their bodies as she shared that she had come to embrace her baby bumps, comparing them to ancient statues of the Greek goddess Aphrodite.

In a post from early August, Ashley shared a series of photos that she originally didn’t want to share online because she wasn’t happy with her appearance at the time.

To make matters worse, her nineteen-month-old daughter Ada, her youngest with her partner Tommy, had fallen ill while Ashley was preparing for a business meeting.

Despite looking beautiful and happy in the photos, Ashley revealed that she broke them up because she didn’t like certain parts of her body in the snaps.

He detailed how he disagreed with her “giant” breasts, her side profile or “how pale” she looked in the photos she posted on Instagram.

Ashley shared a photo from before she became pregnant with her two children and said she “now can’t believe she didn’t like her body back then.”

Sharing a lengthy caption about why she didn’t post them at the time, she said: “I almost don’t share this because I never really want to focus on the ‘flaws’ when I’ve spent so much time over the last decade. trying to change my way of thinking to speak kindly of myself. Don’t talk bad about my body. I also don’t want anyone comparing their own bodies to mine.

“But I think it’s very important to highlight that we are often very cruel to ourselves and we differentiate ourselves in a way that we wouldn’t with anyone else. And it makes me sad to look at some of these photos because I’m in all these incredible places making incredible memories and I let my brain focus on my body or my face instead of just the memories and experiences.

‘And we often look back and wonder why we didn’t like the photo. We think we look amazing.

“I’ve often wondered what the psychology behind this is because I have it so bad – I’ll always hate any photo of myself until about 2 weeks later and then I think about how nice it is.” What’s up with that?

‘Although I have to say that it is very difficult for me to see photos of myself during breastfeeding days. Not the cute ones of me feeding my babies, but just the size of my breast. I’m sure it’s no secret how much I struggle with it due to years and years of shaming and comments that started when I was only 14 years old.

‘But you know what? I’m so glad I got into the photos and didn’t hit delete even when I didn’t like what I saw. Because those moments are already wonderful memories of my children’s childhood. From my adulthood. Of life, love and adventure.

‘And often our memories become hazy and our children grow up so quickly that in the end all we have are photos and memories.

‘So be kind to yourself no matter what stage of life you are in. And remember to have compassion for not liking what you see because we have grown up in a world that has taught us to reach out and see the flaws so that people can capitalize on our insecurities. And always always be in the photos.
