An Australian woman has issued an urgent warning after seeing a man committing a despicable act in public on a popular beach.
Ashleigh Blake was alone on Coolum Beach on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast on September 18 when she noticed a man allegedly masturbating while watching her.
Blake claimed to have recognized the man after seeing him naked on the beach, near teenagers, on previous trips to the beach.
“I’m furious, yesterday I caught a man touching himself on the beach while he was looking at me,” she said. tiktok users in an expletive-filled rant to the platform a day later.
“I look around and realize I’m the only one on the beach, I look up and he’s naked, he’s uncovered and his dick is out and he’s masturbating while looking at me.”
Ms Blake filmed the man in the middle of his dirty deed and has since handed the footage over to police.
She called the act “disgusting” and urged other women to speak out about similar incidents to raise awareness.
“I’m here to warn women, especially on the Sunshine Coast, that men are fucking idiots,” Blake said.

The video sparked a flood of comments from viewers who criticized the man’s disgusting act.
The warning also prompted other women to share their own similar experiences.
“This happened to me and my friend in this exact spot,” one viewer wrote.
Another added: “When you said Sunshine Coast my heart sank… I thought that kind of thing didn’t really happen here.”
A third wrote: “It had happened to me three times when I was a teenager, all on different beaches and twice at a bus stop.”
Others said the problem was not limited to Australian beachgoers, and that many reports had been published by men elsewhere.
“This happened to me when I was 19 at a bus stop at night, alone, he pulled it out and kept walking in front of me so I would notice,” one viewer wrote.
“I pretended I didn’t know anything and walked towards the servo on the other side of the road.”
Ms Blake and the man were the only people on Coolum Beach (pictured) at the time and reported the incident to police who launched an investigation.
Another added: “This also happened to me in Italy and Switzerland, nowhere is safe,” said another.
Queensland Police have confirmed an investigation into the incident is underway.
“Police are investigating reports of an incident of indecent exposure… at Second Bay in Coolum Beach,” a spokeswoman said.
‘Initial investigations indicate that a man exposed himself and behaved indecently on the beach at around 2pm.
“He reportedly left the scene when confronted by a member of the public.”
