Aren’t you entertained? Cricket fan falls asleep on the ROOF of a house after grabbing a spot to watch England and Australia’s gripping Ashes clash
England got off to a blistering start in the third Ashes Test, but one cricket fan wasn’t too wowed by the action at Headingley after he was caught napping on the roof of a house in Leeds.
Stuart Broad and Mark Wood led England to a midfielder as Ben Stokes’ side looked to keep their series hopes alive on Thursday, with the trio sacking David Warner and Usman Khawaja respectively.
The Headingley crowd, who had treated the Australians to a hostile reception before the game, were wowed by England’s performance on the ball, but a fan who had a unique vantage point for the game did not seem too smitten.
Footage from Sky Sports showed the fan sprawled on top of a Leeds house, apparently taking a nap during the morning session.
England’s siege continued as Chris Woakes and Broad then claimed the wickets of the dangerous Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith, the latter unable to celebrate his 100th Test match with a grand tackle.
More to follow.
