The sun is shining, the temperature is rising and people are heading to the beach to relax and enjoy the summer weather.

But that hasn’t stopped Asda from unveiling its Christmas range, almost five months before December 25.

The UK supermarket has shared a sneak peek of its festive range, packed with traditional turkey offerings and more extravagant vegan dishes.

Asda has spent more than 12 months perfecting its range of 540 products, which includes festive favourites and fresh new arrivals.

When it comes to the main event, in addition to the traditional turkey dinner, Asda has a range of alternative centrepieces that are guaranteed to get guests at the table talking.

Following the success of Asda’s first signature flavour in 2023, Asda’s innovation team, led by Senior Director of Trends and Innovation, Jonathan Moore, has also come up with a brand new flavour concept for 2024 – Fig, Whisky and Spiced Honey.

Featuring in 16 of Asda’s new festive products this year, the flavour is the result of extensive trend research and new product testing.

The fig, whisky and spiced honey profile offers a rich and smooth flavour, perfectly complementing winter favourites. With sweet notes of oak, malt and dried fruit, whisky is a distinctive and premium festive flavour, which the Innovation team has seen rise in popularity thanks to the growth of craft distilleries as more mixologists incorporate the spirit into their work.
