Arturo Vidal has arrived in Italy as he approaches Inter Milan.
Vidal still had a year to go on his contract with Barcelona, but the Spanish club have reportedly agreed to release him for variable performance bonuses in place of the original € 1 million (£ 916 million) fee.
As reported by Football Italiathe midfielder arrived at Linate airport in Milan and was greeted by Inter supporters and the media.

Luis Suarez, whose own future at Barcelona is uncertain, took to Twitter to wish Vidal the best of luck for the next chapter in his career.
Suarez wrote: ‘It was excruciating to have you as a rival because you are so great as a player, but to have you as a partner, friend and to know you as a person is even greater !!!! A pleasure to share with a star player like you. I wish you all the best in this new phase. ‘
Vidal, who is leaving Barcelona after two years, was cheerful when he arrived at the airport
Vidal spent two seasons in Barcelona, joining the Bayern Munich club in 2018.
During his time with Barcelona, Vidal made 96 appearances, scoring eleven goals.

He won the La Liga title in the 2018/19 season and also won the Supercopa de Espana in 2018.
Inter will start their Serie A season next Saturday when they host Fiorentina.
