A clever word artist has raised more than £350,000 by selling stunning portraits of famous faces, made up entirely of their own names.
Jayce Hall, 29, from Georgia, USA, is a professional word artist who creates stunning images of celebrities, animals and landscapes, just from the written word.
Each portrait can take up to 25 hours to complete, with the word or name written up to 10,000 times on each piece of art.
Hall charges between $30 and $2,000 for his creations, but says the most expensive, a piece inspired by the Call of Duty games, sold for $15,000.
Over the past year, it has attracted celebrities including the Beatles, Post Malone, soccer player Lionel Messi and Taylor Swift’s boyfriend and NFL player, Travis Kelce.
He also drew a Hawaiian mountain range, a bulldog, a cow and a turtle.
The artist said: “I wouldn’t say I’m a born artist, but I have the drive and it took me a long time to tell my hand what my head wanted to do.”
‘I tried to discover my own style and I think it’s really cool.

“I was interested in realistic drawings, but I’m not that imaginative and I’m very good at replicating things.”
Hall focuses primarily on portraits and has even drawn pieces for NBA star Stephen Curry and country singer Reba McEntire.
He said: ‘When I worked with celebrities, they were really good. Their reactions are always positive.
‘In fact, I’ve become desensitized to how great my art is. I’m grateful to anyone who stands out with my work.’

I used to count all the words in 10 minute sections and add them up once finished.
He said: ‘Usually mistakes can be corrected. It is rare that I misspell a word. When I start over it can be depressing, but most of the time it’s okay.
‘It took me a while to get the muscle to write. This style for me now has more mental impact than physical impact.
“I often write over the wrong words and other letters can be transformed into one, but I haven’t had many incidents like that.”

Mr. Hall has some favorite pieces.
He said: “I have several favorites, one of them is the moon in 36 different languages.”
“I went to a pop-up show and drew the moon and a lady who worked for NASA said it was very accurate, which was great.
“This mountain in Hawaii is called Diamond Head and it is one of the first landscapes I drew and it is close to my heart.”
