Arsenal follows Real Madrid youngster Cesar Gelabert as the Gunners join numerous European clubs looking to secure the services of Spanish talent this summer.
Despite not yet playing in the first team, the 19-year-old is considered one of Los Blancos’ top talent. Gelabert also appeared in the youth set up for the national team, picking up the U17 European championships before losing to England in the U17 World Cup final in India.
And Gelabert has been identified as a potential target by Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, after being impressed by his fellow Spaniard at youth matches for Madrid, according to AS.

The 19-year-old has impressed Madrid’s youth and is seen as a future star
Arteta was present when Gelabert represented Madrid this season in the youth of Tottenham and Chelsea. The Spain U19 international also scored against Spurs.
However, the Gunners will have to wait for competition from other European clubs if they want to bring in the teenager.
French side Lyon has reportedly turned down a midfielder bid, while Borussia Dortmund is also keeping a close eye on Gelabert after making successful moves in recent years for some of the continent’s best youngsters.
