Tottenham is currently winning the race to organize Joshua’s match with the Bulgarian Kubrat Pulev
Reports suggest that employees of the Emirates have been told to work on a major summer event, but it seems that Tottenham is winning the race to organize Joshua’s upcoming showdown.
Hearn told the Mirror: ‘Conditions are, I would not say agreed, but we are in a good position.
“We have an agreement in principle for a fight in June.
‘Spurs is our preference and now Arsenal has arrived.
‘If you go to other countries, such as the Middle East, you have Saudi Arabia, they hear Abu Dhabi or Qatar watching a fight.
‘Now it’s just like Spurs and Arsenal. It has not been done before in Arsenal, but I do not understand why not.
Promoter Eddie Hearn said that Tottenham wins the race, but Arsenal is also interested
“If you want to establish yourself as a destination for sports entertainment, it’s a pretty big coup to get this fight.
“It’s the race in North London for this fight. Tottenham is our preference, but we talk to Arsenal and they came in and said, “How can we make this possible?”
Tottenham’s £ 1 billion state-of-the-art stadium opened in April 2019.
The club has a 10-year partnership to organize NFL games in the regular season, but also wants to expand its current agreements.
Pulev can prove to be a tricky test for Joshua, as the experienced 38-year-old has only one defeat in 29 professional fights.
