Former Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy, a Saliba’s teammate in Saint-Etienne, is impressed by the teen’s progress.
Debuchy told “The Official Ligue 1 Podcast”: “He’s a great player. I am so happy that he will play for a big club like Arsenal next season.
“He improves every game and I think he is a great player. He is strong with good technology. He is quick.
“I think he has a lot of quality to play at Arsenal.”
